Bois Guyon 2022

Bois Guyon comes from a historic plot in the commune of Noizay, which we replanted in 2019. This plot had benefited from 30 years of fallow on well-drained soil in the heart of a wood. Its location reflects the family heritage of the estate and our desire to produce wines true to the terroir.

We seek the characteristic fullness of Chenin by playing with the traditional codes of the appellation, notably 12 months of aging in large oak casks.

It is in contrast with the natural freshness of the terroir and thanks to an additional 12 months of bottle aging that we guarantee a mature, fresh, balanced wine with subtle chlorophyll notes, ready for tasting.

Historically, our grandparents cultivated this plot to produce a sweet wine until 1989. We still have a few bottles of this exceptional vintage.
