In Chinon, we welcome you to our 18th century mansion.

Located on the 1st floor, it can accommodate up to 7 people. It's the ideal place for a cycling break or a gourmet weekend in our medieval, pedestrianized town, just a 7-minute walk from the castle.

This large apartment allows you to live together peacefully if you wish to work there.

Upon your arrival on Rue Voltaire, you'll immediately be immersed in a medieval tale. All you have to do is push open the gate of this former 16th-century mansion and climb the turret leading to your apartment—a guaranteed step back in time.

The apartment consists of two bedrooms, one for 4 people (one double bed and two single beds) and the second for 3 (one double bed and one single bed). The hallway then leads to the living room with a small balcony also overlooking the interior courtyard.
You have access to a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, stovetop, refrigerator, kettle, and coffee machine. We have Wi-Fi and fiber optic internet access.
You'll be completely independent in this beautiful apartment, where you'll find everything you need. Please let us know if you have bicycles so we can park them safely.

Our apartment is located in the heart of Chinon, at the foot of the castle and the Painctes cellars, close to shops and the Vienne River. It's in a quiet, yet lively and friendly neighborhood.
Many visits are possible, visit to the Fortress-castle of Chinon, visit to the castles of the Loire, to the Devinière (house of Rabelais), a flea market is held in Chinon on the 3rd Sunday of the month, stroll on the Loire or on the Vienne....
Finally, for your shopping you will find everything you need on site: supermarkets (Super U, ALDI...), bakeries etc.
Paid parking on the quays or Place Plantagenêts (free between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. and from 7 p.m.).
Please note: market on Thursdays for Place Jeanne d'Arc.
