Les Perrières is a clay-siliceous plot planted in 1934 by our great-great-grandparents. The age of these vines and the quality of this terroir give this red wine great volume in the mouth and a memorable freshness. After 24 months of aging in barrels in a troglodyte cellar, we bottle Les Perrières and reserve it in the cellar, to be presented two years later.

100% Cabernet Franc

Aromatic type: Structured wine with enveloping tannins. A wine with great ageing potential that can last for another 20 years.
Winemaking

After a manual harvest, carefully sorted into 13 kilo crates, the grapes are destemmed for a 3-week maceration.
Native yeasts. No added sulfur. Vinification in wooden vats.

Ground

Clay-siliceous soil on the surface, clay-limestone in depth. Bourgueil hillside. Southern exposure.

Breeding

The wines are barrelled in our troglodyte cellars for aging for 24 months.

To promote aromatic development, we recommend serving it in a carafe; it will be a notable guest in the Loire.
